I must say that One Thread Pulled and Constant as the Sun were some of the better ones I've read. I'm desperate for more though. I hope everything is well, and you can finish the book soon. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347746620089811289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-36476517735163901182014-03-06T08:40:49.678-08:002014-03-06T08:40:49.678-08:00I have now read the 13 chapters of Constant as the...I have now read the 13 chapters of Constant as the Sun that were posted online and I LOVE IT. I pray that all is well in your life as you have mentioned in some posts about significant events. I also hope that someday you are able to find time to write again, I would be very happy to pay for any P&P variations that you write.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16910124204121050315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-46807014863822668222014-03-03T10:15:11.923-08:002014-03-03T10:15:11.923-08:00I just finished One Thread Pulled and can not wait...I just finished One Thread Pulled and can not wait to read Constant as the Sun. Do the sites above have the complete novel now that it is March 2014 or is it still in sneak peek form? I have looked for the book on Amazon, but have not been able to find it.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16910124204121050315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-89422298504426797702013-10-19T15:52:44.792-07:002013-10-19T15:52:44.792-07:00Hello Lizzybel,

I am happy to say that things have settled down, and I am making good headway on the sequel. I am actually posting the first draft chapters of the sequel online, so if you're interested in a "sneak peek" you're welcome to follow along on one of three sites. The first does not require registration, the second and third do:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8263627/1/Constant-as-the-Sun
http://www.beyondausten.com/topic/39-constant-as-the-sun-pp-regency-pg-wip/
http://forum.darcyandlizzy.com/index.php?topic=1853.0Diana Oakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18071988109222333528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-44757380340821320002013-10-18T07:01:30.677-07:002013-10-18T07:01:30.677-07:00I loved One Thread Pulled and have been waiting fo...I loved One Thread Pulled and have been waiting for the sequel. I was checking your webpage/blog for info on the new book. I see from above comments that you had hoped to have it ready in early 2013. Since it is now late 2013, I was hoping for an updated report on when I might be able to purchase the sequel on Amazon? Also, do you have any stories somewhere on line that can be read?Lizzybelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591167665928665880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-22142816042194056252013-01-24T07:12:24.526-08:002013-01-24T07:12:24.526-08:00Ms. Oaks, I love that you mentioned above that you...Ms. Oaks, I love that you mentioned above that you think Hugh Jackman would make a spectacular Mr. Darcy. I agree, both that he would and that he is a tad old at this point. It is fun to know that others find my two favorite actors, Colin Firth and Hugh Jackman, are theirs, as well. I am about 3/4 through One Thread Pulled and wish life would just freeze so I could put the rest of my life on a shelf until I finish the book. Thank you for reimagining P&P in such a sensitive and enjoyable way. This book is by far one of my favorite Austen fan fiction stories!
Colliemahmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00821514588891976333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-39098880066368764022012-10-30T12:49:29.909-07:002012-10-30T12:49:29.909-07:00My daughter and I are big Austen fans.We usually d...My daughter and I are big Austen fans.We usually don't enjoy the array of current fiction that has sprung up with Austen characters...until yours. You are right that there is a sequel in the works - I'm having fun writing it, and making good progress on it. Our dear couple's adventures have just begun! I am targeting to finish the sequel early in 2013.

As for the free download, I was incredibly gratified at the number of people who chose to obtain a copy of my debut novel, and if you enjoyed it, the kindest reward you can grant me will be to tell a friend or two who may enjoy it too.

Warmest regards,
DianaDiana Oakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18071988109222333528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050306533262323179.post-26953620583214222092012-10-19T20:07:52.278-07:002012-10-19T20:07:52.278-07:00Ms. Oaks,

I very much enjoyed it and I definitely felt like the ending was a setup to the sequel (or maybe I was just hoping?). When do you estimate it will be finished? I admit I got the first for free on an Amazon special (pixel of ink daily email) but now that I see you are a self published author I will have to rectify that!Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16130183555541159776noreply@blogger.com
